 Takako adjusts her glasses in the anime ending.  Takako sits at her desk on Kouichi's first day of school, rudely staring into the middle distance rather than welcoming him like her friends.  She does, however, take a break from this to glare at him. Considering she does this to everyone, however, perhaps this is just her way of saying hello.  Takako anxiously takes a practice exam.  Takako with her classmates after their teacher kills himself. Tellingly, she's the only student not obviously horrified by this; in fact, she just seems irritated class has been interrupted.  Takako with Junta and Izumi as the three discuss the curse.  Takako and Izumi carry a giant whale (!), which vanishes once they arrive at the beach, only to reappear when Izumi uses it to attack Kouichi in the water.  Izumi and a distraught Takako.  Izumi helps Takako home following their friend's funeral.  Takako watches her ball head back into the water without her. Amazingly, this doesn't illicit a scowl.  Takako scowls.  Takako in the opening.  Takako covers her head and screams when Junta dies.  Takako doesn't like watermelon seeds. Here she can be seen dutifully sprinkling them in the sand.  Takako checks on Junta.  Junta denies being sick...before nearly vomiting on Takako when she tries to check on him.  Naoya pats the seat next to him, in the hopes Izumi will sit by him. Takako seems to be busy pretending he doesn't exist.  Teshigawara is distraught as he realizes Izumi won't sit by him. Takako, meanwhile, seems to be wishing the car trip which has not yet begun were already over.  Yuuya and Naoya decide Takako is far too serious...so they throw her in the ocean. On the plus side, they do manage to make her stop scowling.  Unfortunately for Yuuya, she gets some of her own back shortly thereafter.  Naoya picks Takako for his catching team over Mei. Takako isn't impressed.  Takako fiddles with her phone in the hallway.  Takako appears to eye Yumi jealously as she talks to Junta.  Takako and Izumi at the beach.  Takako and the others in Kouichi's dream. Takako doesn't seem to find being a dead-eyed zombie any more exciting than any other facet of her life.  Takako shows up in the main hall, in shock with someone else's blood on her face.  Takako blames the explosion on "that old crone," much to Kouichi's confusion.  Takako, lost in thought as she sits in class with her friends.  Takako and Izumi listen to the tape which brings about her psychotic breakdown, courtesy of Yuuya.  Takako tells Izumi about going to school with a Misaki. Unfortunately, not the right one.  Kouichi confronts Takako in the stairwell.  Takako listens numbly as Izumi tries to make sure she's okay.  Kouichi blindsides Takako, pinning her to the wall.  Takako, who doesn't enjoy being almost murdered by homicidal inn keeps or shoved into walls by classmates, threatens to kill Mei.  Takako's bloody shirt. None of this blood seems to be hers...  Closeup of Takako's face. This blood isn't hers either.  Takako calmly broadcasts her version of the truth...  Right up until she commands her classmates to hunt Mei down and kill her.  Takako denies responsibility for the explosion.  Takako stabs Koichi, disabling him.  Takako displays a wider range of emotion in her last two scenes than she had in the previous ten episodes. Here she can be seen smiling. This... is disturbing.  Takako chuckles dementedly, vowing to send the dead back to death.  Takako strangles as Mei watches in horror.  Tears steam down Takako's face as she grits her teeth and agonizingly strangles to death.  Takako hangs around.  Takako is just as bored being homicidal as she was being an introvert. She doesn't seem particularly concerned she's just critically injured one of her friends so she can kill another.  Takako raises her weapon as she prepares to stab Mei.  Izumi, Naoya, and Takako lose the catching contest.  Takako thinks.  Takako gets a lesson in physics.  A shocked Takako becomes entangled in cables while trying to kill Mei.  A visibly uncomfortable Takako suggests Yukari died avoiding Kouichi and Mei. .png "Takako (manga).png (21 KB)") Takako in the manga, sporting a drastically different appearance. Here she appears as the police inform Kouichi of all the bodies they've recovered from the inn. Tough luck, kid...  Takako after Kubodera-Sensei's death.
